Overview
There are many cases where you may want to show a "thank you" page or some type of confirmation page once a customer submits a form. With the use of the Pages feature in Shopify and the 'Submission redirect URL' in Customer Fields, this is entirely possible 😎
Steps to enable
Create a page in Shopify
The first thing you'll need to do create a page in Shopify:
From the Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Pages
Click the button to create a new page, or edit one of your existing pages
Edit the Title and Content of the page to your liking
Pay attention to the Search engine listing section, since you'll want to keep note of the page URL
Click the 'Save' button to save your changes
Use the page URL in Customer Fields
Once you have the page URL, you will want to add it into the form settings in Customer Fields:
From the Forms page in the app admin, click on the 'Edit' button for the form you wish to edit
Go to the Settings tab and edit the 'Submission redirect URL'
Supply the page URL, e.g.
/pages/thank-youClick the 'Save' button to save your changes
All done, give it a test!
Now it's time to test the form to make sure the redirect to the thank you page works in the way you desire 👍
