Older versions of the Customer Fields app had an 'Auto Tag' setting for
State fields. This particular setting has been removed from the new version of the app, but you can re-create this functionality using the rules feature in the app's new form builder.
If you wish to tag customers by their Country and/or State/Province, you will need to create a form rule.
In the form builder, click on the 'Rules' tab.
Create a new rule for each condition that you'd like to trigger the
add tag to customeraction.
Here's an example of two rules which will automatically tag customers from the United States or Canada:
